Philippine International Motorcycle Exhibit & Convention (PIMEC) has become even bigger and more exciting with its final date and venue on April 18-20 at OMNI Area, along M. A. Roxas Avenue , near the SCT Expressway, Clark Field Pampanga.

The transfer and postponement from its original date of March 28-30, 2008 at Fort Bonifacio Global City , Taguig was due to the invitation of the national government on the grand opening of the newest 94-Kilometer highway from Subic, Clark to Tarlac – the SCT Expressway .

The event now becomes bigger as PIMEC activities enjoined with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority 's (BCDA) 94K Weekend event highlighting the following: · exhibit of motorcycle companies and its related suppliers and service providers of the industry; · Grand Opening of the SCT Expressway with the first ever motorcycle run in the whole stretch of the highway open to all types and kinds of motorcycles for 3-days during the event; · Motorcycle Drive Test and Motor Clinic · Seminar and Discussion on issues related to motorcycle and motorcyclists · Inter-club motorcycle fun, games and display competitions · Launching and Presentations of the latest in motorcycle · Poker Run at SCT Expressway and Motorcade in Clark · Concert and Hourly Raffle and many other worthwhile activities.

The grand opening of the SCT Expressway will have the bigwigs from the private and government sectors with no less than Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is expected to be there.
